Dear Juno, or any other teenager in the same situation.
My name is Alejandro, i am 17 and i recently watched your story in my Government class and I was truly amazed. I understand that the decision you made with bleeker because you were bored wasn't the greatest, but you actually put up with the consequences in the end. Even though you were being judged by pretty much your whole school you stayed strong. Many teens that were in your position would have had an abortion because of the goals they have for the future or because they are just not ready to be a mother at such a young age.
I think that the decision you made of putting your baby up for adoption was a really good decision, better than aborting it. But I think that you or Bleeker could have driven to a gas station to buy some condoms before having sex which would have saved you from the consequences while carrying the baby. But you made Vanessa a really happy woman that day because she was actually able to be a mother. The good thing you know that the baby is going to be in good hands, and one day when the child is older you can visit them to see how it has grown.
Adoption is a hard decision to make, but you had the guts to do it. Next time you should be a lot more carefull about your decisions if you are still not ready to be a mother.
Sincerely
Alejandro. C
